A Passenger Coach fell into a ravine
BestPakistanis News: On Sunday morning near Lasbela, Balochistan, a passenger coach plunged into a ravine, leaving at least 39 passengers dead, according to authorities.
While confirming the event, Lasbela Assistant Commissioner Hamza Anjum told Dawn.com that the car was going from Quetta to Karachi and had close to 48 passengers in it. Read more about the accident
“While doing a U-turn at Lasbela, the coach struck a bridge post due to speeding. The car then crashed into a gully and caught fire,” he claimed.
Three individuals, including a mother and a child, have been saved, according to Anjum. He was worried that there would be more casualties though.
Saad Edhi of the Edhi Foundation informed Dawn.com that 17 bodies have so far been removed from the accident scene and transported to a hospital.
