Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has finally responded to the allegations of rape made against him by his former wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. In his statement, the actor refuted all claims made by his ex-wife and shared his side of the story.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui Elucidate
Nawazuddin Siddiqui clarified that he and Aaliya are no longer living together and are already divorced. He shared that they only had an understanding for the sake of their children. The actor revealed that his kids have been held hostage in India for the past 45 days and have been missing their schooling in Dubai.
Financial issues
Addressing the financial issues raised by Aaliya, Nawazuddin Siddiqui shared that he had financed her three films, costing him crores of rupees, to help her set up her income stream as she is the mother of his kids. He also revealed that he had given his children a rented apartment in Dubai, where Aaliya was also living comfortably. Nawazuddin further added that his ex-wife only wants more money and has filed numerous cases against him and his mother.
Child support
Aaliya had alleged that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had not paid any money under child support. The actor responded to the allegations by stating that his former wife had abandoned the kids in Dubai for the last four months before calling them to India on the pretext of demanding money. He shared that Aaliya is being paid approximately INR1 million per month for the past two years, excluding school fees, medical expenses, travel, and other leisure activities.
Maligning his reputation
Nawazuddin expressed his disappointment with the character assassination he has faced on social media platforms, the press, and a bunch of people. He revealed that he had kept quiet until now as he did not want his small children to read all the drama. The actor further added that Aaliya has dragged their children into this drama and is doing all this to simply blackmail him and malign his reputation.
Love for his children
The actor concluded his statement by stating that he loves his children and will go to any extent to secure their well-being and their future. He revealed that whatever he earns today is all for his kids, and no person can change this. About the turbulent relationship
Last month, Aaliya claimed that Nawazuddin had evicted her and their two minor children from their home in the middle of the night. However, Nawazuddin clarified that he was not present in the house during that time and that Aaliya has done this in the past as well.
